What's being billed as "the world's first gyroscopically stabilized" electric motorcycle could radically change the nature of riding a cycle. A new commuter vehicle from Lit Motors is a hyper-connected, efficient, and safe commuter vehicle with one foot in the automobile world and one foot in the motorcycle world. Enter the C-1.
The C-1 uses electronically controlled gyroscopes under its floor, which generate over 1,300 lb/ft of torque, to keep the vehicle balanced while stopped, and the devices are said to be able to keep the cycle upright, even in the event of a collision.
