As Hungary locks down their border to keep Syrian refugees out, volunteers in Munich Germany are eagerly awaiting to welcome thousands of displaced Syrians and offer them asylum. In fact, many Germans have boldly proclaimed their support for refugees and have donated food, clothing, shelter, and time to help refugees start a new life in Germany. This has many asking why? Why is Germany welcoming so many refugees?
