In the years after WWII, the marriage rate in the United States was the highest it had ever been, and it hasn't come close since then.
Marriage rate is usually calculated by the number of marriages per 1,000 people every year. In 2014, there were nearly 7 marriages for every 1000 residents in the U.S. This is actually pretty high for a developed nation. The average EU marriage rate is only about four per 1000.
Which countries today have the highest marriage rates around the world? Watch this Seeker Daily video to find out.
