While many Europeans believe that corruption in the continent is increasing, which country actually has the highest rate of corruption?

75 percent of Europeans surveyed in 2013 said they believed corruption was widespread throughout the continent and getting even worse. According to the RAND Corporation, Europe's increasing corruption costs nearly a trillion euros every year.

Ukraine is one of the most corrupt countries in Europe. The highest rates of corruption in Ukraine tend to occurr in vehicle inspections, police interactions, health care, the court system, and higher education.
