The presidential race has stolen much of the Nov. 8th election focus, but there are several other very important propositions that states will be voting on next week.
One of the biggest ballot measures is the potential legalization of recreational marijuana. California, Nevada, Arizona, Massachusetts and Maine all have the legal weed proposition on their ballot this year.
Gun control is another important measure on many state ballots this year. California, Maine, Nevada and Washington will decide if they're going to increase weapon regulations, and Maine and Nevada will also decide whether to expand background checks.
