Creating Art Out of Weather

Sculptor Nathalie Miebach uses storm data to create her artwork. She routinely gathers data from weather patterns, sometimes using the internet, but also by using her own instruments. She then uses basket-weaving to create beautiful three-dimensional sculptures out of the data she's collected.

Nothing included in Nathalie's sculptures is for purely aesthetic reasons -- everything represents a data point. She wants her work to serve as both art and science. It's a visually captivating representation of science data.
