Who says size matters? Not these undersized dinosaurs. Sometimes they were far more deadly than much bigger animals.
Hesperonychus was the smallest carnivore. It was only about 3 feet long. But it ate insects, baby dinosaurs and small Cretaceous animals.
We can see that they were able to gang-tackle, and ultimately harass to death dinosaurs 20 times their size, proving once again that there is strength in numbers.
The little warriors and expert thieves stole other creatures' eggs and carried them away like so many heavy bowling balls.
So, next time you think only big dinosaurs could be killers, think again.
