Last month, the European Union temporarily halted talks over Turkey becoming part of the EU, saying they were concerned over the Turkish government's alarming response to the failed military coup.

Between July and November 2016, over a hundred thousand people were purged, arrested or jailed, as President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, tried to restore power. Now, months after the failed coup, what is life like in Turkey?
