This 24-hour shop just opened in Viken, Sweden and what makes it different is that there is no cashier. All customers need is a smartphone.
The entrance unlocks once you swipe your phone and purchases are registered through an app. As for security, there are surveillance cameras to prevent shoplifting.
The shop's owner and sole employee opened the business after he noticed the lack of convenience stores in the Swedish countryside. By not having employees, he hopes to save costs and open more locations in rural areas - where it can sometimes take up to 30 minutes just to find a convenience store.
