Unidentified and Unforgettable: When you spot a UFO, it obviously helps if you have a camera to hand. If not, you'd better have very good recollection skills to recreate the sighting through an artist's rendering. Fortunately, for a UFO witness who was driving toward Taylor, Texas, on highway 79 last weekend who didn't have a camera handy, this UFO was unforgettable.
"It was very large and perfectly rectangular, grayish / black in color hovering below the storm clouds like a huge banner," the witness said in a statement filed with the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON). The UFO, that was "the size of a football field," was flying alongside the witness as he drove at 55 mph. The object quickly disappeared when he took action to try and intersect it.
This isn't the first time he's spotted a UFO either. "The other was in 1973 and it was hovering over the Decker Lake Power Plant near Austin, Texas. What a sight seeing it going zig zag across the sky then stopping for (about) 5 minutes to recharge then off it went at a blink of an eye it was gone," he added.
There's little difference between this sighting and previous eyewitness accounts, but what does set this one apart is the pretty awesome artist's rendering. It looks like a massive flying iPad.
As you can probably guess, I'm highly skeptical. Everyone knows iPads can't fly. via io9
