Sometimes it can be hard to go outside in winter even for just a few hours. These guys stayed outside for a straight 132 days.
The Pacific Crest Trail runs all the way from the border of Mexico, up the west coast through California, Oregon, and Washington, ending in Canada. It's 2,650 miles long, and presents extreme difficulties along the way. But that's during the spring and summer. Shawn Forry and Justin Lichter decided they were going to hike the PCT in the middle of winter, a challenge that no one had ever accomplished before. It took them four months but they did it. A true test of body, mind, and spirit.
