Traveling by train is one of the most popular ways to explore India. Ed Hanley, a Canadian musician and photographer, opted to take the longest train route in the country. The Dibrugarh-Kanyakumari Vivek Express spans 2,655 miles (4,273 km) and it takes four nights and three days to travel it, according to Mashable. Hanley captured his experience in a photo essay as well as the time-lapse video below.
