EARTH WINDMAP More than a week of rain deluged the Southeast in what's being called a once-in-1,000-year downpour. The historic flooding is expected to continue especially in the Carolinas, where 2-4 more inches of rain are expected. Charleston, S.C., saw 14 inches of rain over three days, reported AFP, besting a 1973 record of 12 inches. The rains created dangerous driving situations and led to countless rescue attempts, as you can see in the photos from social media below.
