Fly Through the Proxima Centauri System
If humanity develops the interstellar propulsion technology to reach Proxima Centauri, this could be what a Proxima b flyby would look like.
The discovery of a rocky world only 30% more massive than Earth in the habitable zone of Proxima Centauri could revolutionize how humanity sees interstellar space. Rather than an impenetrable void, where the vast light-years cut us off from the rest of the galaxy, maybe, just maybe, the 4.24 light-year hop to Proxima b could be a possibility in the future.

We have a long way to go before such a momentous feat becomes reality, but if we do develop the propulsion technology to get there, what will the Proxima Centauri system look like? In these wonderful ESO videos depicting such a voyage, an artist's impression of Proxima b is rendered, creating what you might see during humanity's first flyby of the alien world.
