DARPA unveiled plans to invest $60 million over the next four years in a program to bridge the gap between the human brain and computers. The goal is to develop a biocompatible device capable of translating thought into computer code at rapid speed. The potential applications of such technology are awesome, from therapies that could help a blind person to see, to a world where people can interface with computers just by thinking!
