And read all about these weird movements I'm doing in my latest blog post on Vintage Space over at Popular Science!
When it was clear men would be flying in space sooner rather than later, it began a new kind of research into how men can move in space, specifically in microgravity. There were a lot of studies in this field, and one 1962 report detailed a series of movements in a weightless environment that could help a disoriented astronaut get to where he needed to be in a spacecraft.
And there's loads of olde timey space to dig into on my blog, Vintage Space, too!
