Volvo announced that it will no longer introduce gas- and diesel-powered vehicles and instead will develop only electric and hybrid-electric models beginning in 2019.

V V olvo surprised a lot of people this week when it announced that, starting in 2019, all new models the company introduces will be either hybrid or fully electric vehicles. It's a bold decision and the first major commitment of this sort from any traditional car company.
