Above is a heartbreaking portrait of Syrians caught between their war-torn home country and the politics of building a life elsewhere. The opening narrative of a young person explaining they have to take the dangerous journey is enough to paint a bleak picture of the Syrian perspective.
However despite the many obstacles that face refugees entering Europe and elsewhere, several profiled in the video have inspiring perspectives and are ready to build a life for themselves by any means necessary.
