Expectant parents used to flash a simple ultrasound photo for baby's first public unveiling. Not anymore. Now, thanks to 3-D printing and computer software, the bar has been creepily raised.

Using 3D/4D ultrasounds, the company 3D Babies offers to create artistic renditions of fetuses printed as 3-D figurines and they come in three sizes: an eight-inch Lifesize 3D Baby for $600, a four-inch Halfsize 3D Baby for $400 and a two-inch Mini 3D Baby for $200.
Proud parents can then choose from light, medium or dark skin tones and whether or not they'd like the genitals visible. The company also offers to create a figurine based off of photos once the baby is born. If you're not thoroughly disturbed already, 3D Babies will deliver the figurine in what looks like a satin-lined shoe box that totally doesn't resemble a coffin.

And if you really want to go off the deep end, check out 3D Babies' "Celebrity Babies" section, where one can purchase a mini version of Baby North West, spawn of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian. Who knows, it could become the modern equivalent to Jeff Koons' "Michael Jackson and Bubbles" sculpture.
