The worlds of fashion and tech collided on April 16, 2015, during the 3D Print Fashion Show, sponsored by Materialise and curated by Natacha Alpert, founder of 3D printing consulting firm MIRAS3D. The show featured unique and forward-thinking pieces that were fully customized and fetched high price tags. Held at the Javits Convention Center in New York City, the event was part of a larger 3D Print Week, created by Alan Meckler of MecklerMedia. The show unveiled original pieces created by 3-D print designers from around the world. Here's a glimpse of some of the most innovative 3D-printed fashion designs and accessories.
