You may have seen chameleons do peculiar things out in the wild. For one, they can change colors in order to better camouflage them in their environment. Also, they can whip their incredibly long tongues out to catch prey at relatively long distances. But have you ever seen a chameleon wash its hands like a human?

Obviously, you have to take a chameleon out of its natural environment to get it near a kitchen sink, but when you have one for a pet, it’s easy. Plus, you can truly see how a chameleon behaves in the house — particular with running tap water.
