During a visit to a South African game park, 24-year-old Chantal Beyer from Johannesburg stood with her husband for a photo in front of two rhinos when the photographer, the game park owner, said, “stand just a little bit closer.”
Seconds after the photo was snapped one of the rhinos thrust a horn into Beyers back, penetrating her lungs. She was was rushed to the hospital with a collapsed lung and broken ribs, reported the Beeld newspaper. “The Aloe Ridge Hotel and Nature Reserve, where the incident took place, declined to comment,” according to the AP.
