Drama It would seem Discovery News fans have photogenic pets! We asked around and a bunch of you got in the spirit and dressed up your pet for Shark Week. Drama here was adopted by Discovery employee Kasey-Dee Gardner, and he looks to be a bit suspicious of all this Shark Week stuff. Want to join in the fun? Post your photo on our Tumblr post!

Ira the Rooster Ira, a silkie rooster, will hunt you down, shark-style. From Ira's owner, on the dressing up of Ira: "Ira is a very tolerant rooster. He gave it a quizzical look and could've cared less."
LennoxClub, sent via Tumblr
One of Discovery News' tumblr followers sent this cute fella in. Thanks LennoxClub!
Rossella Lorenzi, via <a href="http://www.fac
Romeo Romeo is the adopted pooch of Discovery News' History correspondent Rossella Lorenzi! She was kind enough to share it with our fans on the Discovery News Facebook page.

Ramsey Lee Ramsey Lee is a rescue sent to us via Petfinder's Facebook page. Ramsey was sent by his owner Audrey, who says he was "rescued from a shelter August, 2007. He joined our family scared, scarred and abused and is now the dog he was meant to be -- sweet, snuggly, and happy." He looks pretty happy to be sharking around!
Kitty Shark Discovery News' correspondent Emily Sohn adopted this little guy a year ago, and now look at him. Stalking his prey in the Pacif-- er... in the front yard. Look out for the kitty shark!
Lucy the 'Bull Shark' Lucy is the adopted pit-lab of Discovery News Editor-in-Chief Lori Cuthbert. Even though Lori tried , Tabasco (beagle-dachshund rescue pooch at right) just wouldn't get into the Shark Week spirit.
Catie Licalzi, Facebook
Shark Dog Catie from the Petfinder Facebook page sent in this cute little gal. We don't know much about her, except the caption, "my scary shark." She looks like a wary shark too.
Jennifer Viegas, Discovery News
Louie the Avant Garde Catshark Louie belongs to Discovery News Animals correspondent Jennifer Viegas. It would seem Louie was less than enthused in donning an actual costume, so instead Photoshop came to the rescue.

Amethyst This is Amethyst. She's a three-week-old adoptable kitten currently being fostered on behalf of Small Miracles Cat and Dog Rescue. Though she's dressed in her Shark Week costume, she's not quite ready to be adopted yet. She lives in Ellicot City, Md. and if you're interested, you can view her on Petfinder's Facebook page (direct link to photo).
Amber Harris, Discovery Communications
Bea the Bull Shark Bea is an American Bulldog/English Bulldog mix sent to us by Discovery Communications employee Amber Harris. She looks vicious, does she not? Don't get in her way! Do you have more sharked-up animals to send us? Post them as a reply on our Tumblr or share them on our Facebook page! Make sure you include information about your little friend so we can share that too!
