Lexus Builds a Crazy, Sexy Racetrack Inspired by Swimsuit Supermodel's Curves
Admiring the curves of a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model is something many of us have done. But driving those curves? There are only two guys in the world who can claim they’ve done that.
To promote signing on as the official marketing partner of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue, Lexus created a special racetrack, the TORI 500, using the curves of swimsuit model Tori Praver’s body. After selecting the right pose from dozens of photos (in what I assume was a painstaking, tedious job), the track was built in 1-inch-to-100-feet scale.
Since simply building the sexiest racetrack in the world isn’t enough, Lexus invited two professional drivers, racer Scott Pruett and stunt driver Greg Tracy, to compete in a one-lap, winner-take-all competition to see who could take the all-new GS around the TORI 500 in the fastest time, earning the right to drive Ms. Praver on a victory lap, to experience the thrill of her curves firsthand. (Good thing they didn’t plan on building a Kardashian track, they’d never have gotten insurance… or anyone crazy enough to drive it.)

Bonus: While you may not be able to drive Tori Praver’s curves yourself, you can have her in your pictures. As part of Lexus’s promotional campaign with SI, you can download their new app, Supermodeled, and have Tori appear in your photos instantly. Not the same as having her in the passenger seat as you enter Turn 1, but it’ll have to do for now.
