Lennon Killer Denied Release Again: The man who shot and killed John Lennon has been denied parole for the seventh time, FoxNews.com reports.

Mark David Chapman murdered Lennon on Dec. 8, 1980, outside Lennon's New York apartment buildling.

The last time Chapman was denied parole, in 2010, he was told his "discretionary release remains inappropriate at this time and incompatible with the welfare of the community," CNN reported.

Chapman is 57 and is serving a sentence of 20 years to life in prison in Wende Correctional Facility in Alden, N.Y.
