When confronted with a greasy hamburger, most people will either salivate or be repulsed, usually depending on their individual views on fast food and meat in general. But artist Phil Hansen had a rather different reaction.
He saw the potential for great art. Or at least the reproduction of great art. So he picked up some burgers at a fast food joint and went to work making a 21st century homage to da Vinci’s Mona Lisa: the Mona Greasa.
The video (via That’s Like, Whoa) was part of a 2009 advertising campaign by Arby’s promoting its supposedly un-greasy roasted hamburgers. But watching it, I’m more interested in vegetarianism than any fast food option.
