Bigfoot Kill Claimed by 'Master Tracker'
Proving once again that you can't keep a good legend down, there's been another claim that everyone's favorite mythical creature, Bigfoot, has been shot and killed. Bigfoot "Master Tracker" Rick Dyer says that last September in San Antonio he lured the creature -- billed by Dyer as standing 7 feet 10 inches tall -- with bait and killed it.
"It is the real deal. It's Bigfoot and Bigfoot's here, and I shot it and now I'm proving it to the world," Dyer told San Antonio TV station KSAT, noting that the delay in announcing the kill was for DNA tests and body scans to be performed. (The above video comes from Dyer himself, and purports to offer pictures of Bigfoot.)
Dyer says he will soon hold a press conference to address a likely skeptical public (he's had some credibility issues in the past, involving ape suits, and even calls himself a "prankster" on his web site's About page) and that he plans to tour the country showcasing the hairy beast.
