A plaque has been unveiled outside the location of a Subway restaurant in Chicago. However, it wasn’t always a Subway. In 1989, it was a Baskin-Robbins. But even more important than that, this particular ice cream shop was where Barack Obama took Michelle on their first date.

So what’s the plaque about? As it turns out, the date went very well and that became the location of the now President and First Lady’s first kiss. In October, the Obamas will be celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary.

The plaque (that’s mounted on a 3,000-pound granite marker) reads: “On this site President Barack Obama first kissed Michelle Obama.”
