Yesterday, I reported about Patty McAlpine, the 104-year-old woman who set the world record for the oldest person to paraglide. But paragliding isn’t just a centenarian’s sport (obviously). In this recent find from Gadling, two much younger Icelandic women, Anita Hafdís Björnsdóttir and Áslaug Rán Einarsdóttir, went on an adventure in Iceland’s Highlands “where we keep the glaciers, steaming hot springs and volcanoes.” What they show in their video is some of the most spectacular scenery of the country, via foot, 4×4, and paraglider:
If this doesn’t make you want to go on an Icelandic adventure outside of Reykjavik, I don’t know what will.
